Use of archival records
Original records or their copies are accessible for research, study, cultural, official, bussines, personal and other purposes in the Archives' reading rooms. Records are accessible in accordance with the Protection of Documents and Archives and Archival Institutions Act, Reading Room Regulations, and the conditions pertaining to the record types and dates of restricted use which are set by the owners of the record groups and collections.

The Last Will and Testament of Peter Kosler
This month’s archivalia marks the 190th anniversary of the birth of Peter Kosler, a Slovenian lawyer, geographer, politician, author of the map of Slovenian lands, and businessman – brewer. In our collection of testaments we keep his last will and testament, written in German, to which marriage agreement between him and his wife Marija is enclosed. Feeling that his final hour was approaching – he died on April 16 after a long illness – Peter wrote his last will and testament on March 21, 1879. His three-page will is short and to the point.
