Use of archival records
Original records or their copies are accessible for research, study, cultural, official, bussines, personal and other purposes in the Archives' reading rooms. Records are accessible in accordance with the Protection of Documents and Archives and Archival Institutions Act, Reading Room Regulations, and the conditions pertaining to the record types and dates of restricted use which are set by the owners of the record groups and collections.

Arrest Warrants and Banishment Orders in the Fonds of the Seigiory of Brežice
Arrest warrants were issued by competent bodies (usually by the courts) to publicly announce their search for a person committing a crime or for a runaway convict who, if apprehended, must be arrested by law enforcement authorities. The so-called banishment orders were used to keep competent authorities and the general public informed about criminals who after servicing their sentences were banished from the Habsburg Hereditary Lands.
