Use of archival records
Original records or their copies are accessible for research, study, cultural, official, bussines, personal and other purposes in the Archives' reading rooms. Records are accessible in accordance with the Protection of Documents and Archives and Archival Institutions Act, Reading Room Regulations, and the conditions pertaining to the record types and dates of restricted use which are set by the owners of the record groups and collections.

Included in the archive fonds of district administrations are a number of emigration records, connected mostly with emigration to North America and other European countries. One of the emigration agencies offering advice and help in making the necessary arrangements for transatlantic journey was also Ligure Amerikana from Udine in Italy.
